Battery-Powered Compression Tools

ToolsNicopress® battery-powered compression tools are for use with Nicopress sleeves and dies and provide operator convenience and speed for wire rope splicing tasks. Additionally, their compact size permits use in confined areas where traditional compression tools cannot be used.

The Nicotap® Connector System for buried tracer wire is a simple and secure way to eliminate bad tracer wire connections while reducing expensive future “dig-ins.”
 
The Nicotap System provides both better conductivity and better strength compared to other tracer wire splice products. Connections are secure and gaugeable, to eliminate expensive rework in the field. Operation is fast, with a one-handed crimp tool to speed installation.
The Nicotap Connector System addresses variables that can contribute to a failed tracer wire splice:
  • Everything is provided — sleeve and mastic                                  
    no mismatched crimps, no forgotten supplies,
    no compromised connections
  • Pre-cut mastic sealing compound is included — no measurement is required in the field, meaning no wasted material
